Ayant d'abord étudié la finance, la gestion, la comptabilité et l'informatique grâce au Master Finance de l'Institut Supérieur Européen de Gestion (ISEG) à Lyon, j'ai ensuite pris part au Master in Business Administration (MBA) de la Dublin Business School afin d'approfondir mes connaissances en stratégie des organisations (avec une étude de la stratégie des PME de services dans leur gestion du savoir dans le cadre du mémoire de fin de MBA) et d'élargir ma vision de l'entreprise.
After studying finance, accounting and Information Technology during my Master course at ISEG Lyon, I enroled in the MBA course at the Dublin Business School in order to study more deeply organisational strategy (with a special focus on organisational knowledge strategy in service SMEs for the dissertation) and to enlarge my vision of organisations.
2011 - 2012Financial controller for Orange Business Services, Geneva, Switzerland, in a short term contract (replacement for temporary leave) until early February 2012.
- Monitor the revenue monthly closes (average 1 million euro turnover)
• Check the monthly invoiced amount and provide a comparison BUD/ACT
• Following IFRS regulations prepare and post into Oracle the adjustment journals (revenue reclass,
revenue recognition, provisions, and credit notes)
- Report P&L monthly to the commercial and technical teams, to FP&A team
• Report the monthly figures according to different methodologies: detailed revenues and margin by
Business Units, detailed costs by type
• Supply a gap analysis above 10K difference for each revenue and cost
• On a monthly basis, provide expected revenues and margin on month to month and a semester
updated outlook, check the level of targets completion (on revenue, margin and Day Sales
Outstanding).
- Report on a quarterly basis the a full P&L updated until end of contract
• Forecast revenues until end of contract (2016) and estimate new potential revenues (agreement on
new services, increase of the contract scope for existing services, increase of the geographical scope,
contractual price decreases...)
• Build the associated cost plans and anticipate the impact of contractual clauses (provision to cover the
risks of Service Level Agreement mainly)
- Provide ad hoc analyses and improvements on demand to the contract manager, the cluster
manager and to the FP&A team on all the financial aspects of operational activities
• Analyse the profitability of services, check man-days, control the cash collection
• Propose and actively collaborate to Databases improvements (merging, resizing and mapping)
2009 - 2009D'Avril à Décembre 2009, en collaboration avec l'équipe technique de la maison mère, création d'un outil de travail et de gestion de la relation clients pour le service commercial avec pour objectif de relier l'ensemble des responsables de l'entreprise à ce système afin de:
- faciliter les actions des équipes commerciales sur le terrain
- générer des flux d'informations pour les responsables de tous les départements
- recommander des actions
From April to december 2009, in collaboration with headquarters technicians, creation of a Customer Relationship Management tool for the sales department in order to link all the local managers to this system so as to:
- ease sales teams actions on the field
- generate flows of information for the local managers of every department
- recommend actions
2008 - 2009De Septembre 2008 à Mars 2009, mise en place partielle d'un contrôle de gestion avec notamment la réalisation de feuilles de calcul des coûts de production qui seront ensuite intégrées au système de gestion de production.
From September 2008 until March 2009, partial setting-up of financial control. Creation of calculation sheets for the costs of production that were then integrated to the production management system.
