Sponsor’s main contact for central laboratory services.
Responsibilities include:
- set up of new protocols; day-to-day management of ongoing protocols, proper closure of completed protocols.
- attends client meetings and Investigator meetings and provides training on all laboratory matters.
- acts as a liaison between the Sponsor and all ICON Central Laboratories internal departments.
- provides regular status updates and management reports on study progress to the Sponsor and Team Leader.
- Quality assurance based on customer requirements and SOP’s, with an emphasis on maintaining customer satisfaction.

- set up and validation of clinical software database, trial monitoring and close out
- review study protocol and SOPs
- ensure that design, implementation and timelines of study deliverables are consistent with client and budget expectations
- revising Project Budget
- international presentations of ECG process at investigator, monitor and client meetings
- personnel training within study team and for providing coaching to other members of the team
- Support QA department for external client audits
